

ABOUT ME
A current resident of Mays Lick, Sheriff Ryan Swolsky graduated from St. Patrick’s High School. He continued his studies at Cedarville University majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Biblical Studies. He went on to join the Mason County Sheriff’s Office upon graduation as a Deputy Sheriff where he enjoyed working drug investigations and community outreach.
After a few years in this role, Ryan was offered a position as a Deputy U.S. Marshal and attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s Criminal Investigator Program graduating with honors.
Ryan worked as a Deputy U.S. Marshal in Washington, D.C. before accepting an offer to return to Mason County as Chief Deputy of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.
In May of 2024, Ryan was appointed Sheriff of Mason County. Sheriff Ryan Swolsky supports the power of The People, a limited government, and fiscal conservatism.
